Fresno Distributing (“Fresno D”) sends transactional text messages only: one-time sign-in codes, and updates about orders you place on this site (like when your order is ready for pickup, or out for delivery). We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies by how you use the site (typically one code per sign-in and one to three texts per order). Message and data rates may apply. Consent is always an active choice
On both forms below, agreeing to texts is a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. You have to tick it yourself. It is never pre-selected, never bundled into our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, and on the will-call form it is entirely optional: leave it unticked and the counter simply calls you instead. Consent to texts is never a condition of placing an order or buying anything from us.
How you opt in: sign-in
Signing in uses your mobile number instead of a password: you enter your number, tick the consent box, and we text a one-time code. The checkbox sits directly under the number field and starts unchecked, so the Send code button stays disabled until you actively agree. The sign-in form is available on every page of www.fresnod.com (the “Sign in for pricing” button, top right).
How you opt in: will-call orders
Submitting a will-call order at www.fresnod.com/will-call collects a mobile number so the counter can tell you when your order is ready. Directly under the phone field is an unchecked box reading “Text me about this order”, which you tick only if you want those updates. Leaving it unticked still places the order; the counter calls you instead. (The form appears once your will-call list has at least one item in it, which is why it is also documented here.)
What the messages look like
These are every kind of message this program sends. Sign-in codes and the ready-for-pickup notice are live today. The order-received and delivery notices are listed because they belong to the same program and the same opt-in, and they begin as our local delivery service rolls out. We will not send you a kind of message that is not on this list.

Stopping and getting help
